Alloc-8: Clinical Placement Management for Universities
Frontend Engineer, sole owner of the frontend · Healthcare SaaS · Since Jul 2025
Alloc-8 replaces the spreadsheets and long email threads UK universities use to place nursing and healthcare students with hospitals, clinics and care providers. There was no other frontend engineer, so every screen, the design system, the API layer and the deploy pipeline are mine.
- Three portals in one codebase: university staff, students and placement providers, each with its own shell and permissions behind a single login.
- WCAG 2.2 AA from the first component rather than a cleanup at the end. Contrast is measured, every control works from the keyboard, screen readers hear errors as they happen, and an accessibility lint gate in CI blocks regressions.
- A six step allocation wizard that matches hundreds of students to providers, with a map view for travel distance and a score breakdown that explains every match.
- A schema driven audit form for inspecting providers: the backend sends the template, the frontend renders it, and the finished audit becomes a PDF in the browser.
- A design system built from scratch on CSS variables and Tailwind: light and dark themes, a hand drawn icon set, skeletons, toasts and a form kit.
- A typed service layer behind a single API proxy, session handling for three kinds of users, and build time feature flags so one codebase can serve each university a different scope.
Domain: Healthcare education, compliance, placement logistics
Tech: Next.js 15, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, React Hook Form, Leaflet, Azure Pipelines

Enrich Network
Enrich App: Rewards Wallet and Admin Portal
Frontend Engineer · Consumer fintech · Since Jan 2026
Enrich turns everyday grocery receipts into rewards for US households on tight budgets. People photograph a receipt, the app matches it against benefit and loyalty programs, and the points they earn become real dollars and gift cards. On a team of six, I own the consumer side of the app and the shared building blocks of the internal admin portal.
- Built the referral loop end to end: a public invite page, a referral code that survives the sign in redirect and is never claimed twice, and the Go endpoint that credits the friend who shared it.
- Rebuilt the wallet into reward cards and per program activity feeds, and added gift card redemption for a custom amount instead of all or nothing.
- Replaced six separately built admin tables with one shared data table and filter kit on TanStack Table. Filters live in the URL so a view can be shared, and the pagination props are typed so a page cannot mix cursor and page number modes.
- Built the onboarding tour and a reusable animation primitive that shows a still poster first and fades the Lottie in once it has loaded, so people on slow phones never stare at a blank box.
- Wrote the Go handlers, SQL queries and Postgres migrations my features needed, with tests, so nothing waited on another engineer.
- Shipped tests with almost every feature, including the free text location parser behind the in app benefits directory.

Tech: React 19, TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Router, Query and Table, Tailwind CSS 4, Radix, Go, Postgres, sqlc

Enrich Network
Enrich Network Website and Public Benefit Finders
Frontend Engineer · Marketing site, SEO and a live application · Since Nov 2025
The public home of Enrich Network: the marketing pages, a blog, a live grant application, and three free finder tools that help people discover where they can use EBT and which assistance programs exist near them. I built the site from the first commit and own the frontend.
- Programmatic SEO at scale: build time pipelines turn public government datasets into thousands of indexable pages, with the most visited prerendered and the long tail rendered on demand.
- Structured data, Open Graph images, canonical slugs and a generated sitemap on every page.
- A grant application built on a reusable multi step form engine, with direct to storage uploads that accept iPhone HEIC photos, embedded identity verification, and a QR handoff from laptop to phone.
- A Rive powered hero, scroll driven sections and a token based design system in Tailwind 4.
- Lead capture for government and community partners, with analytics funnels so every form reports the same way.
- Playwright end to end tests against real storage containers, plus dependency and security upkeep through a Next.js 16 upgrade.
Domain: Fintech, public benefits, programmatic SEO
Tech: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, Drizzle ORM, Postgres, Rive, Playwright, Vercel
